On 25.2.2016 the Airport-CDM procedure at Stuttgart Airport was verified by Eurocontrol in context of the TEN-T financial support. Stuttgart Airport GmbH and staff from German ATC presented the procedure in Stuttgart and illustrated the implementation to representatives from Eurocontrol. On the basis of a checklist it was checked if the procedure matches its requirements. No objections were made and the financial support via the TEN-T program (Trans-European-Transit Networks) was granted for the successful implementation of Airport-CDM.
In February 2016 training for all Ramp Agents at Stuttgart Airport took place. The Ramp Agent plays a crucial part in the Airport-CDM procedure. He checks the compliance to the Target Off Block Time and prompts changes of the TOBT if necessary. With the experience of almost one and a half years of A-CDM in service many questions were clarified and detailed background information was imparted.
